Terms of service

These terms cover godoor.co, the GoDoor app and the GoDoor Chrome extension (together, the service). By using the service you agree to them. If you do not, do not use the service.

What GoDoor is

GoDoor is a mortgage brokerage for investment properties, with free research tools. We arrange financing with lenders; we are not the lender. The tools, estimates, illustrations and general communications on the service are for information and research only. They are not investment, financial, legal, tax or accounting advice, and using the service does not create an advisory or fiduciary relationship.

Estimates are estimates

Rate ranges, rent estimates, debt service coverage, cap rates, nightly rates and every other figure the tools produce are estimates built from third party data and stated assumptions. They are not forecasts, approvals, commitments to lend or guarantees of income or returns. Verify property information, costs, rental restrictions and financing terms independently before you decide anything. All financing is subject to lender approval, underwriting and eligibility.

Your account

You must be 18 or older. Keep your password to yourself and tell us if you think someone else is using your account. You are responsible for what happens under it. Give us accurate information, especially in a quote or application: a loan file built on wrong numbers is your problem and ours.

Acceptable use

Use the service for your own property research and financing. Do not scrape it, overload it, probe it for weaknesses, resell its data, or use it to break the law or anyone else’s rights. We may rate limit, suspend or close accounts that do.

The Chrome extension

The extension adds a GoDoor badge to listing pages on third party websites. It reads a listing only when you press a button, to save it to your account or to look up rental figures. Those websites have their own terms; you are responsible for complying with them. GoDoor is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Zillow or any other listing site.

Third party data

Property records, comparable rentals and rent estimates come from third party providers. We do not control their accuracy or availability and pass their data on as we receive it.

Ownership

The service, its design, code and content belong to GoDoor or its licensors. What you enter stays yours; you give us permission to store and process it to run the service for you, including sharing it with the lenders and partners you ask us to work with.

No warranty, limited liability

The service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, GoDoor is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages, or for lost profits, arising from the service or from decisions made with it. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the past twelve months and one hundred dollars.

Changes and ending

We may change the service or these terms. When the terms change materially we update the date at the top and tell you. You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time; we can suspend or end access for a breach of these terms.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Disputes go to the state or federal courts located in Palm Beach County, Florida.
